Facing south just 100 yards down from St Giles Cathedral on the Royal Mile (the oldest street in Edinburgh which connects Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyrood House) is number 227. This fist floor luxury apartment in Edinburgh, set in the centre of old Edinburgh where people have lived since ancient Celtic times. Though the façade was built in 1795 the core of the building dates from the 1500's.
This luxury accommodation in Edinburgh is located in the centre of Edinburgh's busy tourist area and there can be a certain amount of street noise in the evenings particularly in front of the property. All three bedrooms are at the back of the building away from the pedestrianised Royal Mile which is quieter.
Edinburgh Castle and Tattoo - Just a 5 minute stroll up the Royal Mile takes you to Edinburgh Castle, watch the 1 o'clock gun fire, wander round the Castle and grounds and a must see is the Tattoo, at the weekend there are fireworks as well.
Edinburgh Festival Fringe - The Fringe HQ is just across the street, and in the festival month many acts queue up to perform here, you will have the best seats in the house!
